A playful interior sporting oversized dice, roulette wheels and a slot machine welcome you to Macau Taste. Combine that with the restaurant's comfortable seating and friendly wait staff, and you have a fun and casual dining experience.
A typical dim sum cafe, Macau Taste's menu is full of familiar dishes with a few Portuguese twists. The fried turnip cake (RMB12) is delicate without any oily residue, while the BBQ pork buns (RMB20) are soft, sweet and fluffy. The prawns in both the hargau (translucent dumplings) and the wontons are huge and extra juicy in the noodle soup (RMB25).
Now the second place to find egg tarts in the Village after Herbal Cafe. Macau Taste's version are slightly more eggy in flavour but equally steamy and delicious - the perfect end to a filling meal.
