The owner surnamed Pan came from Jiangxi and had a porcelain business in Gusu. In the mid Qing Dynasty, he built this two-story building with two entrances. On the eve of liberation, descendants of the Pan family left the mainland, and the buildings were subsequently nationalized. Pan Mansion, facing east and west, with two paths and four entrances, and a garden behind. The second entrance of the North Road is the hall, with relief plays on the lintel. There is a horizontal plaque hanging from the 'Siji Hall', signed in the second year of Xuantong (1910). There are two compartments in front, and the third entrance is the Flower Basket Hall, finely carved. The backyard still has square pavilions and boxwood trees. Located within the Pingjiang Road Humble Administrator's Garden Historical and Cultural Protection Zone, adjacent to the world cultural heritage Humble Administrator's Garden and Lion Grove, as well as major attractions such as the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Prince's Mansion, which is a national cultural relic protection unit, it is currently a protected building in Suzhou City.
