The main peak of North Yandangshan, Baigangjian, rises 1,150 m (3,770 ft) above sea level (other sources give altitude of 1056m or 1108m). There is a radar station on the peak, which is closed to the public.

Baigangjian, Yanhujian, Lingyunjian and Wuyanjian get together and called four needle. Baigangjian is consisted of three needle. The east needle is lower and the west needle is the highest of elevation is 1,150m. When you get to the top of the peak, you cand overlook the whole scenery.
