Lianjin River is also called Jin River. It is the rivers' general name of Xiandu Scenic Area. There are nine ponds, nine weirs, nine bridges and nine ferries. So scholars said that "nine Lian River, ten meters of gelleries". In the old time, the both sides of Hao River was called Xiandu Village. The village in the main scenic area of Xiandu is called Lianjinli.
