Tianjin Eye is is a set of transportation, sightseeing, dining, travel in one integrated multi-function bridge. "Tianjin Eye" Yongle Bridge spans the HaiHe River and connects Hebei District and HongQiao District. The bridge is 600 meters long, 32 meters wide, with  6 lanes of bi-directional traffic.

Safety: Safety checks are performed every Monday mornng. Each cabin has a fire extinguisher, lifeline, intercom and alarm system. In emergency situations, visitors can press a button to get in touch with the ground control room.The Emergency Power Supply System can provide two hours of electricity, sufficient time to remove all passengers. The Wind Speed Warning System will trigger an alarm if the wind speed surpasses 15 meters/second.

Fare: 50 Yuan/RMB for adults and 25 Yuan/RMB for children. Tianjin City Card users receive a 20% discount. Sometimes, businesses offer a 10 Yuan discount coupon.

Tianjin Eye Ferris Wheel is 110 meters in diameter and approximately 120 meters above ground. This is about 35 floors high. Visibility is 40 kilometers. Other large Ferris Wheels (or Observation Wheels) are the London Eye (135m) and Singapore Flyer(165m), The Great Berlin Wheel (175m) and the Beijing Wheel (208m). A complete rotation takes about 30 minutes. The Ferris wheel is driven by electric motors.

The Cabins: Three is a total of 48 transparent cabins, each cabin can seat up to eight people.  The Ferris wheel can simultaneously carry more than 380 sight-seers. The entire cockpit is completely closed with no windows that can be opened. (Reflections from the cabin windows may cause the photographer to be included in the photo.) Seating is for up to 8 passengers.

Refreshments:  Tianjin Eye Ferris Wheel has a waiting area with seating for 40 persons. While you wait, you can buy popcorn, grilled sausages, mineral water, etc.
