YANG Shi((1053-1135),succeeding Er Cheng's(CHENG Hao and CHENG Yi) Yi-ology,attached importance to interpreting the Yi by meaning-pattern,praised the Prenatal Yi,and mixed the meaning-pattern and image-numberology together.He aimed to put the Yi to use and put forward his way of learning the Yi.Influenced by the academic background and social political environments,YANG Shi couldn't surpass the predecessors' study,however,his Yi-ology has a important position and produces important influence in the Yi history.

Yang Shi's Tomb is provincal unit of cultural relics protection. It is one tourist attraction in Jiangle County.
