Sword Gate is in the top of Yu Mountain. It is steep mountain and forceful momentum. It is the most beautiful scenery of Yu Mountain's stone scenery. It is said that King Fu Chai of Wu prcticed sword and splited a stone, then it opened a stone gate. Here has jagged rocks of grotesque shapes and the peaks rising one higher than the other, so it is also called "Jianmen Kistler. It is one of the famouse scenery in Yu Mountain.

Huang Gongwang, which was a painter in Yuan Dyansty, ever painted here. There were also many named inscription. There are Fushui Rock, Fushui Bridges, Zanghai Temple, Baoguo Temple, Sword Pavilion and so on near Sword Gate.
