Lost Horizon Inn, Hotel owner Jaap ? and ? The ELS are from Holland ? With four children in Shangri La.
When I visited Beijing and Tibet in 2000, I very much wanted to come to Shangri La, because I was more interested in Tibetan culture and had unique views on Tibetan areas. So in 2004, I came to Xi'an, China to learn Chinese and help my friends manage the restaurant. Coincidentally, he moved to Shangri La in 2009. They think that the ancient city of dukezong in Shangri La is very interesting. Tibetan buildings have special characteristics. The ethnic minorities here are very friendly. They observed that there were very few Western restaurants in the ancient city of dukezong in Shangri La. In addition, Shangri La was withdrawn from the county and city that year, so they built their own coffee shop in 2010, which is called 'old city coffee shop in other places'. Unfortunately, on January 11, 2014, a fire destroyed one third of the buildings in the ancient city of dukezong. Our 'home' coffee shop in other places was also burned down by the fire. However, with passion for life and dedication to dreams, we found another new home 'memory stack' in 2015, where we also have many years of good friends Neil & Wendy of Jaap and more memories of Shangri La.
