In the old time, Lishui Chuanshen Cave was one of East and West Rock ten sceneris. On the mountainside of West Rock, there was a large rocky cave that through the body of West Rock.

It divided into outside hole and inside hole, they were linked together as platode funnels. The outside hole was 40m long and wide, 8m high with two gates to look down at the whole West Rock. The inside hole was 20m long and wide. There was a narrow zone of 6m long between outside and inside holes. The outside hole was so spacious and flat that could accommodate more than 100 people. It was a good place for visitors to hold a party and entertainment and go camping. The inside hole could accommodate more than 10 people, but under the gate, that was cliff.
