Tong'an Museum opened in early 1990 inside the Tong'an Confucian Temple, this museum has 3 main areas: Tong'an historical relics, Tong'an historical personages, and archives. The museum has at least a couple thousand items in the exhibits.

Tong'an Confucian Temple was first built during the Five Dynasties (907-960 AD), rebuilt in 1768 AD, and renovated in 1987. The 1050m2 temple houses the Tong'an Museum and memorials for such Song Dynasty luminaries as Zhuxi and Su Song.
