Central Peasant Movement Training Institute Site is located at No.13 Red Lane, Wuchang. It is original the North Road School which was built by Zhang Zhidong, the viceroy of Huguang in the late Qing, but later changes into business school. With the victory of northern expedition, the national government was moved to Wuhan from Guangzhou. And Mao Zedong actively inititated and hosted Central Peasant Movement Training Institute.

In 1958, the site was repaired after original appearance. In 1963, it was opened and the Wuhan Museum was set inside it.
