Yangtai Mount lies in Bao'an District. Its main peak rises to a height of 587.3 meters. There are over 10 reservoirs down the mount, such as Shiyan, Tiegang, Xili, Gaofeng, Laiwushan and so on. When rainy season comes, the weather changes frequently and wildlife frequently haunts in lush forest. During the war against the Japanese aggression, the Yangtai Mount guerrillas delivered hundreds of cultural figures and democratic patriots headed by Mao Dun, Zou Taofen, he Xiangning from Hong Kong occupied by Japanese aggressors, and transferred them safely to Yangtai Mount district, so Yangtai Mount is reputed to be the "Hero Mount."
