The Sun Island Resort & Club (Taiyangdao Guoji Julebu) is a resort located on Sun Island, a small island 55km away from Shanghai city center, about 42km from the Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. This island basks in the scenic waters of the River Mao, between Dianshan lake and Huangpu River.

There are 5 different country house style chalets, 453 units ranging from standard rooms to family sized double storey detached chalets. All of the rooms are (at least) equipped with air-conditioning, satellite television, IDD telephones and refrigerator. Kitchens are also available in double storey detached chalets. The hotel and island have a number of recreational facilities that are highly popular with the Chinese, especially in season. There is a mini golf course, a bowling alley, a tennis court, house riding, a sauna and a spa. Sunworld is also nearby, that has a wavepool, beach volley ball and various other watersports.
