In August 22, Yu Xiusong,Shi Cuntong,Yuan Zhenying,Ye Tiandi,Jin Jiafeng,etc announced the foundation of Shanghai socialism Youth League under Chen Duxiu's proposal. In the beginning of 1921, Communist Young League of China was founded and the site became the office of   China Communist Youth League.

It was appraised as the important protection unit of cultural relic of State Council.

The Old Site of Central Committee of the Communist Young League, was originally the place which Shanghai Communist League organized activities, and also a house of  Shikumen style.
