The Shanghai Acrobatic Troupe was China's first art team of commercial performance. They owned luxurious cast, a complete variety of programs, acrobatic skills, and beautiful artistic conception. In 1980, the Shanghai Acrobatic Troupe went to six cities of the United States,such as New York. In 1981, the Shanghai Acrobatic Troupe sent 80 people to  Japan with pandas. In 1988, the Shanghai Acrobatic Troupe of self-financing to create the first specialiszed secondary acrobatics school in China - the Shanghai Circus School.
