Nanjing Meiling Palace is located in the east of Sifang Square Castle in Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. It was once called the Xiaohongshan Premier Residence which functioned as the residence of national government's premier. It is a two-story building enclosed by trees and flowers with a valley road directly linked to the palace gate. It became the residence of Jiang Jieshi when the Nationalist Party Government moved from Chongqing to Nanjing . Jiang Jieshi and Song Meiling often spent their holidays there that cames its name called Meiling Palace.
