St. Lawrence Church

St. Lawrence's Church is also known as Feng Shun Tang or the Hall of the Soothing Winds. In 258 AD, St. Lawrence was sentenced to death by a Roman governor for helping the poor people with communion funding. St Anthony's Church, or Igreja de Santo António, is one of the oldest churches in Macau. The church stands on the site of a chapel that was built in 1558. It was then rebuilt in stone 1638, but burnt down in 1809. Church of Our Lady of Guia
