    Sai Kung East Country Park is a 44.77 km2 country park in Sai Kung Peninsula in Hong Kong. It opened in 1978 with features like:

   High Island Reservoir : The High Island Reservoir , located in the far south eastern part of the Sai Kung Peninsula, was opened in 1978 helping to alleviate water shortage problems in Hong Kong. Its water capacity is approximately 273 million cubic metres. The area it occupies was originally the Kwun Mun Channel , which separated High Island from the Sai Kung Peninsula.

   Wong Shek Pier : Wong Shek Pier Bus TerminusWong Shek Pier is a public pier on the shore of Long Harbour in the north-east of Hong Kong's New Territories. It is situated in the Wong Shek  area of the Sai Kung Peninsula, and is in Tai Po District.

    The pier provides is served by kai-to ferry routes to remote settlements on the peninsular and its outlying islands, such as Tap Mun , Wan Tsai and Chek Keng , and provides their principal connection to the rest of Hong Kong. It was reconstructed in 2006

   Long Harbour : Long Harbour, also known as Tai Tan Hoi , is a natural harbour formed from an inlet of Mirs Bay to the north of Sai Kung Peninsula, Hong Kong.

    The harbour is elongated in shape, with its mouth guarded by the island of Tap Mun . The inner stretch of the harbour is split into two arms by Tung Sam Kei Shan (Long Hill) at Tung Sam Kei Tsui. The East Arm, Chik King Hau, points to Chik King and the West Arm, Ko Tong Hau, points to Wong Ma Tei and Ngau Wu Tun.

    Several remote settlements, without road access, exist on the shores of Long Harbour and the nearby islands, including Tap Mun, Wan Tsai  and Chek Keng . Kai-to ferry routes operate to these from Wong Shek Pier, a road connected pier at the head of the West Arm, and Ma Liu Shui, on the MTR West Rail line near the new town of Sha Tin.
