It's the village famous for tea. To go there, you can enjoy the tea, have a country home style meal, watching the tea field, breath fresh air. Normally the price for a cup of tea is between 15RMB to 50RMB. It's about thirty minutes outside the city. You can take bus Y4 or K658. A taxi will run you about 30RMB.

Every person, which is somehow connected to the Chinese Tea culture knows about the Long Jing (Dragonwell) Tea. The best Long Jing tea is Xi Hu Long Jing that grows on nearby the Xi Hu (West Lake) in Hangzhou in Long Jing village. Not! Skip that touristic place and get yourself straight to the Mei Jia Wu village, the really best place to taste the Xi Hu Long Jing Cha (and perhaps, to take a few hundred grams home).

Nearby you can find the National Tea museum and lots of other picturesque sites such as Lingyin Temple (and nearby parks and caves), Baochu Pagoda, Lengfeng Pagoda and many others.
