Shuangjiang town locates at the south bank of Fu river where is 10 km northwest of Tongnan County. Because of the two creeks surrounding the town, the town was named Shuangjiang.

The ancient town faces Fu River and is featured by spreading courtyards and gardens built in Qing Dynasty which has rich ancient flavor and with exquisite carvings on coloums. Flowers and trees in the courtyards are flourish of four seasons which are the typical charm of the ancient Bashu towns.
