JianKou great wall is one of the most dangerous sections of the great wall,Jiankou great wall is also a photographic hotspot. It is higher and steeper than Mutianyu Great Wall, more winding and varied than Simatai Great Wall.
Jiankou Great Wall is considered to be a "wild" section of the Great Wall, and its  retains its original appearance since its construction in 1368. It is wild and uniquely made of large white rocks, and has been out of repair for many years. Jiankou Great Wall is an ideal place for adventurous and experienced hikers and photographers.

You can take bus No.916 at Dongzhimen Gate, get off at Huairou, where you change to a midibus to Mutianyu, and get off at Xinying, where you can take a minibus and get of at Zhenzhuangquan(Pearl Spring). You will easily find Jiankou Great Wall from there.
