Beijing Endangered Animal Center is located in Yongding, Beijing, it covers an area of 120,000 square meters and a floor space of 42,000 square meters. It is the largest endangered Animal Center in China, and integrates sightseeing, scientific popularization and education, and recreation and their tomb. The center will take in wild animals seized in accordance with state protection laws, and provide medical attention, food and protection until further handover instructions are received from the local superior department in charge of wild animal protection. The center will also serve as a major education center to raisepublic awareness with regard to the protection of endangered wild animals. Beijing belongs to a warm sub-continental monsoon climate; its summer is hot and rainy while winter is cold and dry. Spring and fall are short. Its annual average temperature is 10-12 degrees celsius. The best time for travel is from April to November.
