della1121 said: We stayed at the HUI Boutique hotel during our recent trip to China. We has a room for 3, as our daughter was with us. The service was excellent. The room was large and very clean. The décor was very pleasing, keeping with the traditional style. We strongly recommend the breakfast. It is very well priced and much better than the cafes nearby. It was an absolute joy to discover this gem of a hotel so close to the OLD Street in Tunxi.

The hotel is antique ~ the key is very clean ~ it's really hard to find in the alley, but I personally like such a simple house about 5 minutes away from the old street. The sound insulation effect is not good. People who are sick in five-star hotels are not suitable

This place is triple the price of a 4-star hotel in Wuyuan around this time. The place itself is generally made well. The rooms are small, and the bathroom is one of those without a seperate shower cabin, so everything gets wet. The bed is not that comfortable and at night the provided quilt is not warm enough to use without the airco-heater on. The village is still under construction, so isn't that nice yet. There are better choices out there!
