Surviving Island New Concept Tourism Base also called Shengcun (Living) Island, a tourism base opened recently at Huairou in the suburbs of Beijing. The scenic spot is o­ne kilometer east of Luzhuang Village. It is a new tourism base where o­ne can release pressure, mould o­ne's temperament and recall the interests of childhood. Activities include surviving and training in the wild, new concepts of tourism, collective leisure sightseeing, student self-survival training and senior citizen recreation.
