The Old Beijing Mini Landscape Park located at Nankou some 40 kilometres away from the city the Old Beijing Mini Landscape Park is a joint venture of the America Shi Tai Group Stock Co. Ltd Changping Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Corporation and Changping Nankou town Industrial Enterprises Corporation. Construction of the park lasting o­nly 16 months first began o­n April 18 1993 and was finished and opened to the public o­n August 18, 1994. The total cost for building the park was 2.4 million US dollars, covering an area of 132.5 acres of land, the Old Beijing Mini Landscape Park includes old Beijing scenes, its traditions and folk life and a reception and administrative quarter. o­n a scale of 1:15, the park brings to the public the Beijing of the Ming and Qing dynasties-its rigrous arrangements grand styles strewn skyline and natural adornment.
