Hongcun poyin Minguoli Guesthouse Yixian, Pingshan village in Yi county is close to mountains and rivers. Jiyang river passes through the village from north to south. Houses in the village are built along both sides of the stream. In order to facilitate the communication between residents on both sides of the Strait, eight stone arch bridges, commonly known as 'Changning eight ancient bridges', were built on the stream during the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty.
