The early vegetable market under the 800 year old banyan trees nearby is a collection of pollution-free fruits and vegetables brought by vegetable farmers. They are fresh and cheap. Bored, you can walk for two or three minutes to the island beside the Lijiang River, play in the water, take a walk, take photos, and slow down the time.
