St.Peter Mansion is the largest (4600 square meters) Russian style wood carving building in Erguna Shiwei Town, Hulunbeier city. The rooms in St. Peter's manor are spacious (each room reaches about 25 square meters), grand and luxurious, and can receive large groups.
It is built according to the star standard. The whole building of the manor is made of Larix gmelinii in the northern frigid zone of Great Xing'an Mountains. The walls are made of traditional Russian techniques. The walls are not fixed by iron. It has novel design, unique shape and exquisite workmanship. It is a classic Russian style architecture in Hulunbuir. The wood carving is warm in winter and cool in summer. It is earthquake resistant and environmentally friendly, Known as the 'breathing house', this production technique has been listed as the fourth batch of intangible cultural heritage development list by Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
