Steam Hostel Chengdu is located in Wuhouci street, in Sichuan Chemical Industry Design and Research Institute. It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to Wuhouci and Jinli. There is a bus line at the gate, so the traffic is convenient.
The hotel is rebuilt from an old house in 1960s, which has the slow living temperament of Old Chengdu and the artistic atmosphere of new Chengdu. The first floor is the front desk, public space and studio, the second and third floors are the accommodation area, with large bed room, standard room and multi person bed room. Each guest room is equipped with independent bathroom, so the environment is comfortable and clean.
The hotel hall on the first floor has a spacious public space with the functions of a bar and a live house. It provides Seiko beer and holds music performances from time to time. A wonderful journey starts with the steam hostel! The hostel is close to Wuhou Temple and Jinli (about 10 minutes' walk). The front desk is very friendly and the room is relatively clean (it is rare to have an independent bathroom). I live in mixed 6 rooms, but there are only 3 people living a few days ago, and the two girls except me are very quiet. The only disadvantage is that the sound insulation of the room is slightly poor, and students live in both rooms. It seems to be more excited at night and noisy at night. And there is no sign in the corridor to remind guests to turn down the volume at night
