Designed by Wang Shu, the winner of the 2012 Pritzker Prize and a world-renowned architect. The architectural design concept of 'harmony but difference' is reflected in the material methods and techniques that integrate the old and the new. The overall layout of the site is inspired by the painting 'A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains' by the Song Dynasty painter Wang Ximeng, and the architectural and landscape patterns are created with reference to the painting 'Four Scenery Landscapes' by the Song Dynasty painter Liu Songnian. The layout is grand and the small is seen in the big; the architecture is simple and elegant, and the big is seen in the small. Eight landscape zones have been formed, namely 'Spring Sunrise, High Pavilion Surrounded by Greenery, Listening to Waterfalls on Stone Beams, Facing the Wind in Water Palaces, Flowing Springs in Berlin, Chatting in Melon Sheds, Autumn Coolness in Cypress Creek, and Cold Plums in Crane Ponds', covering the beauty of landscape gardens in spring, summer, autumn and winter. The hotel rooms combine classical hidden landscape elements with modern functional facilities. Walking in them is like being in a painting, combining elegant aesthetic sentiments with convenient accommodation experience. Enjoy the unique design of lakes and mountains, and enjoy leisure, comfort and fun.
