Lion Mountain Scenic Area is located in the western of Shenzhai Village that is 3km away from the southeastern of Xianhu Town. It is constituent part of Xiandu Scenic Area. In front of Lion Mountain is the mountain of east wing; on the back is vertical and horizontal terraced field; on the left side is near Zhang River; on the right side is rolling hills. There are ancient trees tower to the skies and green. Look at it from a distance, it looks like a lion, so it is called Lion Mountain.

There are summer hole, reading hole, cloud hole, lion navel, doctor hole, tianzi hole and others on the mountain. In the prominent place of the cliff, there are builting Star Pavilion, Lion Pavilion, Mushroom Platform, Jijin Tower and many pavilions, terraces and towers.
