Little Deng Island is located Dadeng town Xiang'an District, and face the Golden Gate across the sea, and it is the nearest living island from the Chinese mainland to Taiwan Golden Gate.

In the history, the Little Deng Island was belong to Jin'an Town, Taiwan, but the Jin'an Town was belong to Tong'an Town. Little Deng Island also ever belonged to Nan'an Town.
