The Xiamen Bridge Museum, located right beneath the Haicang Bridge, has attracted both tourists and experts with its introduction of famous Chinese and foreign bridges (including the iron arch bridge over the Thames River, the Normandy Suspension Bridge, deng deng). About 1/3 of the indoor area is devoted to fascinating exhibits about the construction of Xiamen's beautiful Haicang Bridge.

Located on the east bank of Haicang Bridge, the Xiamen Bridge Museum integrates with bridge-related science, technology, history, culture and knowledge. The museum, which is the first of its kind in China, has attracted both tourists and experts with its introduction of famous bridges from around the world.

Bridges have played an important role in ancient trade and travel routes. The Xiamen Bridge Museum is an ideal place to explore both old and new bridges in Fujian province; it also provides valuable information on many of China's great bridges. Besides, in order to learn more about the many significant bridges in the world, the museum has some of the finest bridge models and photos from the past to present.
