Ping-jin Campaign Frontline Command Site is located in Mengjia Building Ji County Tianjin. The site is the local wealthy family agricultural house with post and panel struture and long and narrow courtyard. The eastern and western of wing-rooms are arranged methodically, and they are lived for battled confidential and guard personnel. The main house is casing side, and in the eastern is the room for Lin Biao who is secretary of the front and commander to live; in the western is war room, and there is hanging military maps. And the roof is equipped with bulletproof barbed wire.

On 12th 1948, after the Liaoxi-Shenyang Campaign, the army deployed Ping-jin Campaign. According to the instructions of the Communist Party of China, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) northeast field armies, 12 armiies and special troops nearly army troops not to rest  rapidly, the headquarters building in meng home, set here as command center of Beijing-Tianjin Campaign.
