Covering an area of 38,700 square meters, the Ancient Bell Garden was built in the Southwestern of Huinan Town in 1982. The bronze huge bell which was casted in 1571, was situated in the scenery centre of the Ancient Bell Garden. The clock mouth was 1.1 meters in diameter and 1.62 metres high, 2.8 meters body clock perimeter, weight of 1.6 tons. Antique clocks is one of the great treasure, now was listed as Shanghai municipal key for the protection of cultural relics.

The garden was also named with the ancient bell. Inside the garden its winding streets, the
road surface was lied with slabstone, scree. The layout structure with booth, hall, pavillion, bridge, road and the building design of cornices Qiaojiao, and green entire distribution, extruding the feature "qingWa white wall bronze ginkgo", simple elegant and quiet. Inside the garden, there were building Coil Dragon Island, Day Pond, Lunar Lacus and other famous architectures.
