Bi Hai Jin Sha, which means blue sea and golden beach is a popular place for Shanghai locals to spend their weekends. Bihai Jinsha, literarily means blue sea, gold sand, is located in Fengxian district. It's one of the few high-quality beaches in Shanghai, thanks to white sand specially shipped from Hainan province and a filtration system designed to keep the water clear.
