Fujian Taining World Geopark in the city of Sanming in Fujian Province northwest of Taining County, covers an area of 492.5 square kilometers, of which Danxia landform area of 252.7 square kilometers. Geological Park to the typical youth Danxia landform as the mainstay, both volcanic rock, granite, tectonic geomorphology and other geological relics, which integrates scientific expedition, popular science education, tourism Lanqing, and leisure into an integrated whole geoparks. Taining Global Geo Park is a county that belongs to Sanming city located in the Northwest part of Fujian Province. The Geo Park covers an area of 492.5km2 and has a population of around 130,000. The Geo Park is dominated by Danxia landform, but also has many other geological heritages such as volcanic, granitic and tectonic landforms.
