Qingyuan timber-arched corridor bridge not only has the characteristic of the most number, the longest histoty and the most coherence of its history, but also the longest historical, the largest span, the longest timber-arched corridor bridges in the countrywide are existing in Qingyuan.


Four famous ancient bridges are Yonggui Bridge in Gucheng Town, Yu Bridge in Wudabao Village, Lanxi Bridge and Houkeng Bridge. They are the largest span bridges with long history, unique structure, beautiful modelling and full of ethnic characteristics.


Yonggui Bridge: Located in the northern of Songyuan Town, on the backe of stone tortoise. Now it is county level cultural relics protection. Yonggui Bridge is suffered the flood, fire and others for more than 500 years, and it is keeped the left bridge in the Liberation War. On the bridge, it is built gallery house and long stools for the visitors to view the mountain and fishes swimming and ducks playing.


Houkeng Bridge: Located in the northern of Zhukou Village. It is built in the Qing the tenth year of Kangxi (1671) and repaired in the eleventh of Guangxu Years (1885). It is 36m long and 5m wide with the structure is woodarch, showing primitive simplicity elegant. Now is the county level cultural relics protection.


Yu Bridge: It is built in 1335 and 1340. The exsisting bridge is rebuilt in 1898 with 36m long and 5m wide. Now is the county level cultural relics protection.
