The Qi Jiguang Ancestral Temple is located east of White Tower Temple on Yu Mountain in Fuzhou of Fujian province. It was built in commemoration of Qi Jiguang, the famous general who resisted the Japanese invasion. Qi Jiguang (1528-1587) was a classic militarist of Ming Dynasty. He had led armies to fight against the Japanese in Jiaqing 41 year (Year 1562).

He defeated the Japanese army at Heng Island, Niutian and Putian and gave the Japanese a very heavy setback. When Qi Jiguang returned after the victory, the official of Fuzhou junket at Yu Mountain and made a stele for him. The Qi Jiguang Ancestral Temple was rebuilt in 1918 on the hillock. There are five pine trees beside it.

On its front is the Pingyuan Platform. There is an overhead bridge between the platform and the hillock. There are many strange rocks on the east side of the ancestral temple. In the middle is one that looks like a bed and on it was engraved with two characters, "Drunken Rock".

Next to the Drunken Rock is the Drunken Rock Booth and the Penglai Cabinet is located on the north of the ancestral temple. The Qi's statue is in the main hall of the ancestral temple in tribute of his achievement in fighting against the Japanese.
