Tongnan Great Buddha Temple is located on the foot of Dingming Mountain 1.5km away from the northwestern of Tongnan Town. Now there is existing Big Buddha Pavilion, Kwun Yan Temple, Giok Hong Tian, Jian Pavilion. The Big Buddha Pavilion is built near the mountain and by the river, is a building with xieshan of sever eaves style, and showing spectacular sight. The Sakyamuni Buddha is sitting in the pavilion. Its height is 18.43m, shows experssion solemn. This Buddha is known as "eighty deep true rishi". The Buddha as the center, there are colophon, poety, statue of historical poets on the precipice.
