Nanyaojie is located in the southeastern of Youyang Town, is bordered on Guizhong Yanhe Town, Songtao Town, Yinjiang Town and Chongqing Xiushan Town. Here is comely mountain, quiet and beautiful silence. It is the revolutionary base area which is built by He Long who is the third army of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army. Here ever sowed fiery seed of Chinese revolution, leaved footprint of the red army's life and fight, soakaged warm blood. So it is a red land.

Nanyaojie is the only old revolutionary base area. In the churchyard, there still saving the red army combat remans and the red army veteran's cemeteries. There also has Red Army University, Red Army Hospital and others.
