Situated in Podu River between Wansheng District and Tongzi County,Guizhou Province, Tonggu Beach is 11.2 kilometers long and it takes about one hour to drift. Along the drifting way, tourists can enjoy sightseeing, quiet and secluded gorges, green trees on the mountains, waterfall and dangerous drifting way. Tonggu Beach is called the first-class drifting place between Chongqing and Guizhou because of the good water quailty, the good scenery and the good drifting conditions. The total drop in elevation of Tonggu Beach is 43 meters and there are 23 dangerous beaches whose biggest drop is 6 meters. There are landscapes of "one waterfall, two islands, three gorges, four caves, ten beaches " along the way and there are picturesque Yangtiao Gorge, Tongfu Gorge, Mati Gorge, Guanba Stone Tiger Head and Han Dynasty Cliff Cemetery and so on.
