Hongchiba alpine grassland is located in Wuxi County, covering an area of nearly 20,000 acres. Its altitude is 1800-2500 meters. It consists of a number of karst trough flat grounds. In recent years, Chinese Academy of Sciences carried out many research activities. Currently there are sheep, fritillary, American ginseng and other Chinese herbal plant bear fruit.
