It is located in the Weng's alley which is in the Gucheng District of Changshu. It is the national key units of cultural relics protection. Weng Tonghe ever lived here, and now it Liu Rushi (1618-1664) was a famous courtesan in the late Ming dynasty who married Qian Qianyi at the age of 25. She committed suicide on the death of her husband. She was a famous poet, famously exchanging verses with Chen Zilong.

A friend of Chen Yuanyuan, concubine of Wu Sangui who fought against Emperor Kang Xi in the Revolt of the Three Feudatories.

Liu Rushi(1618-1664), originally named Yang Ai'er, was also known by her literary name "Yinglian" and "Hedong Jun". She was a native of Wujiang, once a courtesan in Nanjing and later became concubine of the celebrated poet Qian Qianyi. Conversant with literature and skilled in calligraphy and painting, she was an intimate friend of Huang Yuanjie. Although she was a talented painter, few works of hers are extant today.
