Square Pagoda is in NO 2, Pagoda Lane, Changshu City, closes to the most prosperous business street-Square Pagoda Street, covers nearly thirty thousand square meters, got its name from the square pagoda of the park. It consists of Square Pagoda Park, Carved Stone Inscription museum and the Museum of Celebrities. It was built initially in South Song dynasty, rebuilt many times in Yuan, Ming and Sing dynasty.

The temple was destroyed in Xianfeng period of Qing dynasty, o-nly the square pagoda was kept, is the landmark of Changshu. The Square Pagoda is four-stoyed, tetrahedral and balcony style with half timber construction. Climbing up the stairs, you can see the entire scenery of old city. It mingles the traditional building skill of gardens and modern building technology and has the verve of the old imperial gardens. It also adopts the poetic technique of gardens in the south of Yangtze River, the bridge, pavilion, rocks and flowers bring out the best in each other.
