Qian Qianyi (1582-1664) was a noted late Ming official, scholar and social historian. Qian was a famous author and poet; and along with Gong Dingzi and Wu Weiye was known as one of the Three Masters of Jiangdong.

The tomb is sitting north and facing south, it is back to the lake. It covers an area of 743 square meteres and garved mound is 1.3m high. The main tomb are Qian's parents and Qian's tomb is on the left side. Qian's tomb is repaired for many times and it was the provincial units of cultural relics protection. In 1982, it became municipality protected historic site.
