Ming Fan Mansion is also named Tanwang Mansion. It was in Changsha where Emperor MingTaizu conferred the eighth son as Tan King and Emperor Ying conferred the seventh son, Jian Jun as Ji King and is called the Fan Government Office.

Lucky King Mansion was built on the former site of Tan King Mansion ruins, thus it was formerly called Huangdian Palace. Ming Fan Mansion sits north and faces south with Zijin Tai situated directly opposite. Fan Mansion is also known as Wangfu Mansion and is located around the area of Nanzheng Street.

The red decorative archway is the original Fan Mansion archway. During the reign of Ji King, the Fan Mansion has four doors and octagon pavilion and extends to the palace.

The entire area was under the Fan Mansion. Therefore, almost the entire town was under the Fan Mansion region. Ming Fan Mansion was gone when the soldiers of Qing Dynasty invaded the pass. The Longevity Palace was built on the Fan Mansion's ruins.

There were originally two mansions on the left and right of the mansion but they were rebuilt into warehouse and the outer area became commoners' residence area. The present Hou Fan Mansion Level Ground, the Fan City Dike, east archway and west archway are in the Ming Fan Mansion.
