The Former Residence of Hu Yaobang is situated in the Cangfang Village of Zhonghe Township in Liuyang City. It sits amidst hills with chirping birds and sweet flowers. The Minxihe River runs through the village and passes by the house. Its landscape is beautiful. A common brick-and-timber civilian house, it has 19 rooms with a floor-space of 450 square meters. On the 20th of November in 1915, Hu Yaobang was born there and spent his childhood in the house.
