In case you need a hotel not far away from Pudong airport, the Royal is for sure a very good choice. My room was very clean, all necessary amenities available. No smell - it seems ot be that this room was recently refurbished. For sure no place to stay some days, cuase around the hotel is just nothing.

The facilities are relatively new. It's a very good hotel. Ramada at the airport doesn't have a room at all. So if you catch a flight to Pudong Airport in the morning, it is recommended to go there. After all, you can get an extra hour's sleep.
