She helped us contact local taxis for transportation and even asked the driver to call her back and confirm that we had made it to our destination. Our room was comfortable but not outstanding. The shower door had a little problem, but didnt affect our stay. The breakfast, which was included in the price of the room, was very good. It was buffet style offering fried noodles, rice porridge, vegetables, sweet squash, fried or boiled eggs, orange juice and soy milk. As a foreigner living in China, I found this hotel to be comfortable with greaat service. The staff were courteous and friendly.I would definitely stay at the Guohe hotel again and would recommend it to anyone needing to stay in Suzhou.
